Last week, a Macklemore video went viral online after he and Ryan Lewis boarded a city bus in New York and rapped randomly for everyone on it. It’s a great video – one that definitely received a great deal of positive attention.
Since Macklemore and his team were smart enough to invent a scenario like this and take advantage of it from a marketing standpoint, I figured the team would acknowledge most of the social media chatter about the event. Much to my dismay, my outreach warranted nothing but silence.
In the screenshot below, you’ll see my tweet to them and immediately notice the emptiness in the @reply section.
Once again, I’m terribly sorry for the lack of excitement. We’ll see how much longer this type of result continues.
