My gym displays a television screen with rotating advertisements. My personal favorite ad cycles roughly every 2 minutes. It’s for a Debt Consolidation Company.
The first image of the ad shows a man with his head in his hands. The text reads “Are you loosing sleep at night?” and then continues to pitch me to consolidate my debt with them.
I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely not “loosing” sleep. I’m not even “losing” sleep at night, so that additional “O” just doesn’t even come close to applying to my situation.
But perhaps this ad appeals to the demographic they’re looking for. Maybe in order to decide to consolidate your debt, you have to be stupid enough to not be able to spell words correctly.
Maybe the ad is ingenious…
