February’s 30 Day Challenge: Spanish Everyday

Through January, I dove back into Treehouse and learned the most efficient ways to code apps differently. My daily lessons were very helpful. I feel very accomplished.
For February, I’m getting back into Duolingo and this new mobile app I found called “Drops.” Drops, after several daily uses seems to be an even more effective and entertaining version of Duolingo. It’s a gamified, fast-paced look at learning words in a new language. The premise is that they’ll remind you to open the app, but that you are only given 5 minutes a day to review the exercises.

I already took a stab at the first few lessons and I must say – I’m retaining the words much more than any of the previous ways I’ve learned Spanish in the past.

Of course, after my initial 5 minutes in Drops every day, I will leverage Duolingo as often as necessary.

For more information on both Duolingo and Drops, I’ve linked to their websites below:

Here’s to another successful month of an awesome challenge! Wish me luck!
