We need to be better at being content when we’re wrong. We’re not infallible.
If you think about how you feel when you’re wrong, it doesn’t become an issue until you realize you’re wrong. Until you realize you’re wrong, you think you’re right.
But it’s the realization that we’re wrong that we hate. We fight it. We don’t accept it, learn from it, and move on.
The best workplaces are the ones that celebrate unintentional wrongness. Because if you’re proven wrong, that means something else was proven right. That’s progress.
