Creating a process is a process itself.
Maintaining a process is also a process.
We must remember to not only maintain the processes we create, but maintain the maintenance process that oversees maintaining the process.
This doesn’t have to be as complex as it sounds.
When it comes down to it….
- Managers/Supervisors create a management process (including hiring the implementation team).
- Managers/Supervisors create the implementation process.
- The implementation team enacts and creates a maintenance process for optimizing the implementation process over time.
- Managers/Supervisors develop the process that allows for (micro) management of the progress.
- The implementation team embeds communication to management as part of the process.
