Peer To Peer

In school, we loved it when a teacher gave us the opportunity to “talk among yourselves.” This was because she was relinquishing her power temporarily to have control of our own behavior.

It’s this type of freedom to share that allow us to be ourselves. Without constraint, we state our opinions and have our authentic voice heard.

The same goes for driving next to a police car. We don’t really expect to drive recklessly, but we still get nervous for some reason. It’s because there are unspoken expectations laid out for us to drive perfectly.

This example works across all environments. As long as there is supervision, we can’t act naturally and be ourselves.

Imagine what these realizations mean when you look at peer-to-peer economies. Consider the blockchain and realize the limitless possibilities.
