It’s a non-event.
I look at Brexit like it’s Y2K. It’s a news event receiving a lot of attention and concern, but nothing ultimately happens.
After today, I’m expecting everything will go back the way they were after all of this is over. That’s what happened when the crazy psychic predicted the end of the world a few years ago too.
That’s because they’re all non-events. Media buys into covering them because we as human beings remain so fascinated with what could be possible.
We expect non-events to be possible, but that wouldn’t be the point of them, now would it?
