February will be an interesting month for my monthly goals. While I’m making the initiative designed around health, it’s somewhat bad timing for it due to my hectic schedule.
The challenge? Cook something from the Wild Diet every day, and ultimately, eat healthier throughout the month.
What’s the Wild Diet? It’s a Paleo-based meal plan designed by Abel James. I just purchased the book and look forward to experimenting with some of the healthy recipes.
But why will this be so difficult to do in February?
Right smack dab in the middle of the month, I’ll be traveling with the family to visit friends in Texas. Yes, this is the same Texas that offers outstanding bar-b-q and sweet treats. Therefore, I’m expecting to have to put the challenge on hold for a long weekend before getting back into the Wild Diet the following week.
What’s more? I’ll be traveling again for a long weekend at the end of the month.
So, I resolve this challenge to eating strictly on weekdays while I’m home. During this effort, I hope to learn some tips and tricks that will help me better coordinate our meals as we remain super busy with our twin newborns.
Wish me luck! I’ll update everyone on my progress on the Through the Lenz podcast. Stay tuned!
