Last month, I focused on playing the guitar. I’ll admit it. This is the first month this year I really struggled with the specific goal. To be honest, I’m still doing some of my previous challenges daily. That’s the beauty of these challenges. However, these new habits are definitely getting in the way of my more specific goal for the month.
Therefore, I don’t have much exciting to report. I did play the guitar when I could, but it didn’t turn into any meaningful. I learned a few new tricks, but not nearly as much as I had planned to accomplish.
I’m not going to beat myself up over it.
On to the next month. Not every month is going to go as smooth as the last. Sometimes you can’t avoid the hurdles that get in your way.
As for June, I’m making it a month of studying. Some of you already know this, but I’m an investor. I also trade stocks on the regular. What I’d like to do this month is study more on the technical aspect of trading and analyzing stocks, and creating a better foundation for stock discovery.
Any system that I end up creating will require some form of automation. I look forward to seeing what I can come up with that will help make my daily routine much simpler.
At the end of the month, I’ll be sure to report back on my progress. If you listen to my Through the Lenz podcast, I will outline the outcomes there.
What are you focusing on in June?
Whatever it is, I hope you have a great month!
