Disclaimer: I didn’t get to see as many movies as I usually do this year. Mix a generally busier year with expecting your first pair of children, and you end up not having nearly as much free time to go to the cinema.
Regardless, I thought it would still be fun to list my favorite films of this year. Below my list, I’ll list out movies I’d expect to overthrow many that are on the list – either because they aren’t out yet or that I haven’t had the chance to screen.

I don’t ever remember being so excited for a holiday season filled with incredible movie releases. Of course, with the new babies, I won’t get a chance to see any of them right away – but it is undeniable that this will be the best cinematic season in a long time.
