I’m very glad I learned about Bryan Stevenson at Google’s Zeitgeist event. Here’s why:

No one is there worst act. Each of you is more than the worst thing we’ve ever done.

Even if you kill someone, you’re not just a killer.

The opposite of poverty isn’t wealth. The opposite of poverty is justice.

We have to judge how we’re doing by how we treat the poor.
